Creative Technologies is really about stimulating the innovative side in a person. An opportunity to express those ideas by inventing new things to possibly someday solve today's global problems.
Question: Does this solution in any way solve any problem? Do I really see this Bin being used in cities in the future.
Thinking about it more and more, you start to realize what the different possibilities are and how I could have really made this so much more complex to really be a brilliant Idea.
I was thinking about global warming, its clearly something on every ones minds these days. This bin could have worked as an excellent way to discover what parts of the city requires more recycling bins in place in order to prevent people from dumping all their garbage into one bin making it harder to sort through or degrade in landfills. Motion Sensors, weight sensors or perhaps something that detects glass, metals ? Could alert people in charge of the project what kind of rubbish was being disposed off, and also really how much? Or even the frequency. This was the original idea for my project but to accomplish this i would need more time to work on my own. I'm already struggling with this group. Bryan Didn't show up again today and Trent has once again not contributed towards getting anything achieved. :/
