After going out to find different materials that i could use to work on my project i have finally decided that I would need to use wood, my group is not helping what so ever to help build this so given my little knowledge on this, I bought some planks of wood from Mitre 10 and built myself the cone that would fit on the inside of the Bin to protect the camera from the (garbage) that was essentially going to be thrown in.
Building the cone actually proved to be rather difficult because I havent had to build too many things before, carpentry isn't my forte. But in the end i have managed to make something that would suit the job meeting the sizes that i originally did measure to work with in Solid Works.
The group isnt even aware at this point that I have actually gone out and built this thing on my own, I have been talking to them about the fabrication part of the assignment all week but they just not contributed in any way to make it happen. I will show them what i've done tomorrow morning. Hopefully it'll give them some motivation for us to move forward with our project so I'm not left to finish all the work.
