Final Presentation
The final presentation was only conducted by Me, Ben and Chris the other members of our group did not turn up to class which is bit of a let down, but the presentation i thought still went well, because it wasnt a very formal presentation there was very little preparation that we needed to do before the big day, Chris and Ben took over mainly and i contributed on parts where i felt i should. I have thoroughly quite enjoyed working on this last project it was a very fun way to end the semester and BCT year one.

Websites
This is administration page of the website
that I created, I was trying to look into things that I might have been able to
done better to make the page look a lot more professional.
-
The layout seems too plain.
-
The logo is real but
manipulated in Photoshop to meet copyright laws. Still don’t know if its completely legal
though being the nz police logo. More research should have been conducted
before it was put up on the internet, (will be taken down after the
presentation)
-
The login section just
does not look real enough on the page, its to easy to tell that your playing
the game. This would have affected the reality of the game.
This is the finished site, but I am still
looking into how It all will come together. Still trying to develop further
images that might help our website to look more real.
Our website was created using the weebly
editor. It is a site that allows you to host and create your own websites for
free.

Game Presentation
Today we presented our actual game to Maggie and Gabe there were some minor issues that we faced during our performance, and i feel if we had a little bit more time we might have been able to really avoid silly mistakes like a set of keys opening more than one locker to find the package, but overall our game went well and Maggie, Gabe and Roy really did enjoy themselves playing our game. Because we created a game that really needed a whole team to be played by we encountered more problems than we originally anticipated but it was none the less a very interesting project that we worked on this semester

The Portfolio
This is what our package looks like with all our missing clues, evidence and everything that we now have against the government or this agency also known as the "The New Zealand Civil Defense Service"All our articles are clearly printed and marked as real or fake and in order or not in order, tomorrow is our presentation for the actual game with Maggie and Gabe and we need everything to all fall into place, the photos in there are to serve as evidence that we are always being watched, and the articles to show what the media has been telling people about the Urewera case and the people that were prosecuted, then there are photos of the people that we say are killed and for a moment it will really make people wonder whether people are dead or not in reality. Which will directly achieve the purpose of this assignment which is to blur the differences between both realities.

QR Code!
This is the QR code we developed to be used on the smart phones, this code would allow the user to visit the government official website in the game to show them all the systems that we hacked into. it is very crucial that the QR Code actually works in our game because it plays and important role in connecting the dots.
The technology in itself is very fascinating i enjoyed roy's presentation about this technology that they are currently developing and i look forward to seeing what else we can do with it.

New Idea: Further Researched
So, finally everyone in the group is rather intrigued and happy with our new idea! They all feel that we've really explored it quite well, and that the idea is something worth perusing! It's a real huge relief to finally have something we can work towards given we are running out of time.
We decided to blur the realities between both worlds using a real event that has taken place, the Urewera case. This case combines two main elements of our ideas which is conspiracy theories and the idea if high levels of surveillance. Using real newspaper articles that we have found online and in the newspaper we are manipulating them to tell our own story which is that the government is actually killing of people and they are using surveillance to track anyone who is onto them. Ironically their own surveillance cameras pick them up whilst commuting these crimes and a bunch of students (us) hack into their system and are able to get access to photos and videos. etc.

New Idea:
New story: (Idea two)
The Idea of us
the actual group stumbling onto something we’re not meant to find, (i.e the
cameras set up by the government for example and being taken in, goal would be
to get Maggie and gabe/james to find us and rescue us essentially. Keeping them
confused all the way, so they don’t know whats going on and/or what to expect
just randomly hit them.
Website:
Something we need to create as a form of communication
- For the the official governments
- One for where we post our own
information
Create a
reality that paranoid and disturbing (imagine the people participating come
into the room where everyones back is turned and their ignored) - conceptual
art/installation.
