Acoustic Instrument Bits and Pieces

Instruments that Phil Dadson made, I have been taking a look at his contraptions that he's made from using all odds sorts of materials. His knowledge will be very useful for the engineering of my own acoustic instrument.

I have taken some photos of his work that impressed me most. 

These are some of the materials that I plan on using in the process of building my acoustic instrument, at this point Im just experimenting with the different sounds that im able to create using all sorts of material. This task is harder than i expected it to be, i thought it would be as simple as putting a few bits together and using those sounds as my music. But getting appropriate sounds from the instrument is just harder. Because after a lot of trial and error i've realized that not all the contraptions i make play out the way they were intended too. The sounds arent as efficient.
