The task was simple, in our groups we had to make a new robot that would make its way from the foyer, down the corridor and to the main office. It needed to knock on the door, or ask the person present at the time a question. We did not need to use the earlier protocol we developed for our chess piece.
How ever it was still important that it was still consistent with our chess pieces character, it expressed the characters nature and emotions through the type of movements, speed, sounds and responses.
Our robot did manage to complete the task, except it was not consistent we found the angles continuously changed because we did not use a sensor to direct its path.
